Back in 2012, three brothers looked around the Philippine market and thought: “Where’s the fun?” That spark lit the fuse for Parafreaq Trading — a retail company built to serve the weird, the wild, and the wonderfully free. We started with novelties and gift items that weren’t just things you bought, but things you bragged about, laughed over, or gifted to that one friend who “gets it.”
From day one, our goal was simple: blow minds. We weren’t chasing trends or playing it safe. We were creating a melting pot of pop culture in the metro — a place where anything and everything could exist as long as it brought joy, chaos, or that “what the hell is this” kind of wonder.
The Golden Run
For seven years, Parafreaq became more than a store — it became an experience. We turned heads in the gift industry, then carved out our own corner in tobacco paraphernalia and adult toys. We weren’t afraid to touch taboo categories. In fact, we thrived there. Then, 2020 happened. The pandemic knocked the wind out of the entire retail world, and Parafreaq was no exception. Relying on mall foot traffic, we had no choice but to hit pause. All three of our locations shuttered inevitably. Shelves went dark. The chaos went quiet.
It wasn’t an ending — just an intermission. For five years, Parafreaq laid low. But chaos, by nature, doesn’t die. It waits. It festers. It grows louder in the shadows.
